Atlantic Webworks to Develop Site for International Mission Organization

08/14/2007

Greensboro, NC – Atlantic Webworks will be developing a pro-bono Web site for Missionary Health Services, a non-profit humanitarian service organization that provides health services for the poor and needy in rural Honduras. Founded in 1992, the organization has built a free health clinic in Chapagua, Honduras, and organizes missions with teams of volunteer doctors, dentists, pharmacists and nurses each year. The organization functions solely on the contributions of its supporters and the volunteers, and has no paid staff.

“Each year, MHS serves hundreds of people, some of whom have never had access to medical care in their lives. Some of the patients walk for up to 9 hours to receive care, with children in tow. As a volunteer for this organization, I have seen first-hand the tremendous impact this organization has had in the lives of its patients. Atlantic Webworks is honored to support the work of this wonderful organization and we’ll be building a site that will facilitate the group’s recruitment and communications with volunteers across the country,” says Adrienne Cregar Jandler, President of Atlantic Webworks.
